Experience a unique Golf Masterclass at Wychwood Park with a PGA Golf Professional. Players will learn the fundamentals of golf, including driving, chipping, putting and course management through a range of engaging coaching activities. The day is designed to develop concentration, discipline, confidence and precision while introducing participants to one of the UK's most popular participation sports. Date: Wednesday 13th August 2026 Venue: Wychwood Park Golf Club Session Times: School Years 5-9: 1.00 pm – 4 pm Participants should wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear.

Please meet at the Club Shop next to the Clubhouse.

Session Times

Morning Group – School Years 2–4
Drop-off: 9:15am
Collection: 12:30pm

Afternoon Group – School Years 5–9
Drop-off: 12:45pm
Collection: 4:00pm

Drop-Off and Collection

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your session begins.
A parent or guardian must sign the participant in on arrival.
You will be asked to confirm who will collect your child.
Any change to collection arrangements must be given directly to a member of staff.
Children will only be released to the agreed parent, guardian or authorised adult.

This follows the existing NAR arrival and collection procedure.

What to Bring

Please send your child with:

Comfortable sports clothing
Trainers or golf shoes
A refillable water bottle
Snacks
A cap or sun hat in warm weather
Sun cream, applied before arrival
A waterproof jacket if rain is forecast
Any medication required, including inhalers or EpiPens

Golf clubs can be brought from home, but equipment will be available for participants who need it.

A packed lunch is not required because each group attends for a half-day session.

Medical and Additional Needs

Please ensure all medical conditions, allergies, additional needs and emergency contact details are accurate on your ClassForKids account before the session.

Medication must:

Be clearly labelled with the child’s name
Be handed to staff at sign-in
Include clear instructions for use

Please contact the NAR team before the session if your child requires any specific support.

Clothing and Weather

The session may include putting, driving-range activities, short-game work and outdoor challenges.

Participants should arrive dressed for the forecast conditions. Golf-specific clothing is not required, but clothing must be comfortable and suitable for physical activity.

Personal Belongings

Please do not bring valuable items or unnecessary electronic devices. NAR Sports cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings brought to the venue.

Behaviour and Safety

All participants are expected to:

Follow instructions from NAR staff and the golf professional
Respect other participants, staff and club facilities
Remain within the designated activity areas
Use equipment safely and only when instructed

Parents may be contacted if a child’s behaviour creates a safety concern or prevents the session from operating effectively.
