Learn new skills and build confidence at our Skateboarding Masterclass. Delivered by experienced instructors, this exciting session will introduce participants to the fundamentals of skateboarding in a safe and supportive environment. Children will learn balance, control, movement skills and basic tricks while progressing at their own pace. Whether attending for the first time or looking to improve existing skills, this session offers a fun and engaging experience for all abilities. Date: Wednesday 26 August 2026 Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Venue: Springfield School, Crewe Age Group: School Years 2–9 All safety equipment will be provided. Participants should bring a packed lunch, drinks bottle and comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity.

Please make your way to the main reception on arrival. A member of the NAR team will meet you, direct you to the activity area and complete the sign-in process. The existing Springfield parent information uses the same main-reception arrival procedure.

Drop-Off and Collection

Drop-off: 9:00 am
Collection: 4:00 pm
Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before the session.
A parent or guardian must sign the participant in on arrival.
You will be asked to confirm who will collect your child.
Any change to collection arrangements must be given directly to a member of staff. Children will only be released to the agreed parent, guardian or authorised adult.
What to Bring

Please send your child with:

Comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity
Trainers with flat, secure soles
A packed lunch
Snacks for the day
A refillable water bottle and sufficient drinks
A waterproof jacket
A cap and sun cream in warm weather
Any required medication, including inhalers or EpiPens

Skateboards, helmets and protective equipment will be provided unless parents are advised otherwise before the session.

Children may bring their own skateboard and protective equipment, but all personal equipment must be clearly labelled and suitable for safe use.

Clothing and Safety Equipment

Participants should avoid loose clothing that may catch on equipment.

Helmets and the required protective equipment must be worn when instructed. Participants will not be permitted to take part in practical skateboarding activities without the correct safety equipment.

Medical and Additional Needs

Please ensure all medical conditions, allergies, additional needs and emergency contact details are accurate on your ClassForKids account before the session.

Medication must:

Be clearly labelled with the child’s name
Be handed to staff at sign-in
Include clear instructions for use

Please contact the NAR team before the session if your child requires specific support.

Personal Belongings

Please avoid bringing valuables or unnecessary electronic devices.

All clothing, bottles, bags and personal skateboarding equipment should be clearly labelled. NAR Sports cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings brought to the venue.

Behaviour and Safety

All participants are expected to:

Follow instructions from NAR staff and specialist instructors
Wear the required protective equipment
Respect other participants, staff and venue facilities
Use skateboards and equipment only within designated areas
Wait for instruction before attempting new skills or tricks

Parents may be contacted if a child’s behaviour creates a safety concern or prevents the session from operating effectively.
